This is the story of the dance man, Bryan "Tough Kid" Anthony. (Or at least my sheltered version of it.) Bryan is an amazingly gifted hip-hop dancer with acrobatic talents. In 1990 he portrayed an HH Devil on NBC's Hull High for its fun, but brief run. In 1992, he appeared in an anti-drug use commercial by the Scott Newman Center. Bryan has appeared on two episodes ("Cardio-Funk" and "The Wedding Part 1") of Beverly Hills, 90210. He played "Tough Kid" in the TV movie, Desperate Choices: To Save My Child. His other television appearances include: JAG, Dragnet, Ally McBeal, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Hunter, Nikki, Red Shoe Diaries, Judging Amy, and ESPN's ProDance Full Out Special. Bryan was an animated dancer and choreographer for the film, Tom and Jerry. 1994 brought Bryan to the big screen again, where he danced in the movies, North and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult. Also in 1994, he danced with the Star Search '94 Finalist dance group "Five Card Stud." We learned from the rest of the group that Bryan was doing a show in Las Vegas, as he could not attend for the final competition results. Later in the year, Bryan joined the talented cast of Nickelodeon's Roundhouse to close the series with a bang. Bryan is an extremely busy dancer who gives versatility new meaning. He, of course, also acts and sings, and it looks as if he's had Hollywood experience as a child as well. He played a Native American boy in an episode of High Mountain Rangers in 1988. He's also toured with Paula Abdul. Performances include; Nickelodeon's The Big Help 1995, Entertainment Tonight, NBC's Friday Night on New Year's Eve 95/96, the City Kids benefit concert, The Tonight Show, and the ABC Frank Sinatra birthday special. He is also in Paula's video "My Love is for Real." Bryan danced at the 1997 and 1998 Superbowl half time shows and has worked with Michael Jackson, Michael Affrick, Gloria Estefan, and Reba McEntire on her 1996 tour. For stage he has performed in A Christmas Carol. Bryan has been spotted dancing with Vitamin C on The Donnie & Marie Show, The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon, and Fox Family's Front Row Center. He has also been spotted dancing with Leanne Rimes on The Tonight Show. Bryan appears as a dancer in the films Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Guess Who, Showgirls , Dudley Do-Right, Boys and Girls, That Thing You Do, and the 2001 TV movie, These Old Broads. He also played "Geeky Guy" in The Sweetest Thing with Cameron Diaz. Bryan did the cheerleader choreography for the 2001 film, Jackpot, and was assistant choreographer for 2004's film Red Riding Hood, as well as for the 2004 Miss America pageant. You can catch Bryan dancing in the Jennifer Lopez video, "I'm Real" as well as in the MTV special Making the Video which features it. Bryan also danced with J-Lo on her first concert special in Puerto Rico, which aired on the ABC Family Channel. Bryan was featured on VH1's Bubblegum Babylon choreographing pop artist Katie Cassidy. Bryan currently teaches hip-hop classes in Los Angeles and teaches workshops on the west coast with Thunderstruck Dance Conventions. Hometown: Agoura, CA. Bryan's been dancing since he was 4. He's a martial Arts enthusiast. Shown in People Magazine dancing with Paula Abdul. 10/30/95 page: 7. Shown in J-14 Magazine dancing with Vitamin C. 8/2001 page: 85. Bryan was featured in the January 2002 issue of Dance Spirit Magazine. RH related jobs: Bryan danced at Nickelodeon's 7th annual Kid's Choice Awards. Hosted SNICK Live in 1994.
